In the Zamzam refugee camp near al-Fashir (Darfur region), local aid workers operate several soup kitchens to feed the people. With your donations, we can ensure the provision of food for approximately 400 families (2200 people) for several weeks.

April 2025

Following the destruction of the open-air kitchen we supported by attacks carried out by the rebel forces (RSF) on the refugee camp, which resulted in many people being killed and injured, many people are fleeing to Tawilah, a small town located south of al-Fashir. With our support, a new community kitchen can be established there. For seven weeks, we can work with other initiatives to ensure the food supply for approximately 2500 people.

 

Furthermore, we can support a hospital in al-Fashir with the purchase of medications.
